What good is a bag of coffee if you don't know how to make the drinks you love? Wether you're a coffee pro and are just looking for some new drink ideas, or wether this is your first bag of coffee ever, you're in the right place! Here are some of my favorite drinks, and step by step on how to make them!

Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew

Step 1: Cold Brew

 You will need...

-coffee grinder

-quart sized mason jar

-nut milk bag

-fine mesh strainer

Ingredients

- 1 cup freshly ground coffee beans

-4 cups water

Instructions

-Freshly grind the coffee beans on the coarsest setting. If you don't have a grinder, ask a local roaster to grind their beans on the coarsest or French Press setting, I don't recommend using preground coffee for cold brew.

-Place the grounds in a quart-sized mason jar or similar sized vessel. As long as you can cover it – even with plastic wrap – and the liquid will fit, you're set!

-Pour the water over the beans, working to saturate all of the grounds. As needed, use a spoon to gently mix in all the grounds to ensure that they are all wet.

-Cover the cold brew and let rest on the countertop or in the fridge for 14-24 hours, as desired. I like to brew for about 18 hours.

-Place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl and spread a piece of cheesecloth or a nut milk bag on top of the sieve (see the post for additional straining options). Pour the coffee into the bowl to strain it.

Step 2: Sweet Cream Cold Foam

You will need...

 -electric frother

-mason jar

Ingredients...

-1 cup heavy whipping cream

-1 cup 2% or whole milk

-vanilla syrup

Instructions...

-Pour 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 1 cup of 2% or whole milk, and desired amount of vanilla syrup (about 4 pumps) in mason jar

-Froth with electric brother until thick and foamy consistency forms

Step 3: Putting it together

Instructions

-In cup, put 2 pumps of vanilla syrup, followed by filling halfway with ice

-Pour in cold brew leaving about an inch or two of room at the top

-Top with your sweet cold foam, and enjoy!
